Documentary

This year I created a 15 minute documentary that focused on a societal issue within the United States. In 2019, Sol Pais travelled across the nation to carry out school shooting fantasies based off the anniversary of the Columbine shootings. So far, I have amassed over 2,500 views on this documentary alone without any paid promotion.

This video is a fake campaign I created for Proposition 380; which targeted fast food chains and their mass presence in lesser economically developed areas of the United States. All of the videos I have created have been by my own innovation with only a handheld camera.

Research

I took an intellectual self defense class during my time at Regis University. During this time I researched into the psychology behind foods that are promoted in the United States as well as the effect of what we consume on our bodies. This video explores deeper the shocking truths of the American Food Industry. 

Gillette PR Campaign

The below PDF attachments are an accumulation of a PR campaign I created. The goal was to keep Gillette's infamous 'the best a man can be' campaign message whilst also receiving positive feedback from our publics. The specialization paper helps explain my early research and ideas whilst the annotated bibliography helps demonstrate the rationale behind the decisions I made within the campaign based off peer reviewed studies that have happened within the field of communication. The Capstone Final Project PDF is my final paper both explaining my role within the campaign as a crisis communicator and the final outcome.
